Homemade Bread.

There comes a time in every stay at home mom's life where she feels like she has things under control (if you haven't felt those five minutes yet don't worry they typically come shortly before the birth of your second child.) And she feels like she should be doing more as a home maker, a budget keeper, a healthy food maker person. So what does she do, she makes her own bread!! It turns out great! She says "oh yeah I can do this." Buys huge bags of flours......

The inevitable happens.....

Bleach...lots of bleach.

I am a pretty natural girl, I love my vinegar and baking soda, Dr. Bronners with essential oils......un paper towels, sure we use them (because we're cheap, I mean I just bought a pack of microfiber car washy type rags and keep them in a kitchen drawer).

But when the after supper entertainment is a rousing game of Poop or Chocolate?* there is no substitute for bleach and paper towels......
Did I mention that tonight's game took place on top of the dinning room table.

*or the following variations of:
WHO POOPED?
Did you poop?
What did the baby eat?
Ohhhh, there's the lost lego guy...

Sensory play...

I wonder what the mothers of those sweet happy children playing in their sensory bins and with some fun combination of shaving cream and corn starch think of my boys naked running like insane children, falling and slipping in puke (because you know they have to eat the shaving cream). As they grind corn starch in to every grout line in the tile, and the baby screams in the background because I am not mom enough to babywear while holding the two year old down and getting "sensory" beans out of his ever loving ears. Are they judging me?
Am I judging them......

The "pinsperation

The reality.
